Friends with Tax Benefits

Friends with Tax Benefits is a queer romantic comedy. It follows Amy, who marries her best friend, Reagan, while blackout drunk. They stay married so Amy can remain in the States to finish her degree, despite Reagan having a boyfriend, and Amy being unsure of her sexuality.

This script was a quarterfinalist in the ISA’s Creative Screenwriting competition in 2023.
